Open during the 2001 Major League Baseball season, PNC Park is an intimate, classic-style ballpark located in Pittsburgh, as the fifth home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This ballpark features a natural grass playing surface and seats more than 38,000 people for baseball.

However, PNC Park is more than just a ballpark. An array of entertainment opportunities and modern amenities also make the park a perfect venue for a variety of events. The complex has successfully hosted numerous events including concerts, seminars, wedding receptions, birthday parties and more.

The park has various wonderful venues and amenities to make your event first-class in every way. Have a look at the following venues and find out which venue is perfect for your wedding.

Club Cambria - Want a luxury wedding? Club Cambria can meet your needs! It is the most unique upscale luxury members-only lounge at the ballpark. Seated on the private suite level of PNC Park, the club is located on the third base side, allowing patrons to take in the beautiful Pittsburgh skyline.

This intimate luxury venue boasts lavish stadium-style soft seating with Cambria natural quartz countertops, bar tops, tabletops, wall cladding and tile. For your event, Club Cambria has a capacity of up to 60 guests in a classy setting, with spectacular views that the North Shore has to offer.

Trib Total Media Hall of Fame Club - Trib Total Media Hall of Fame Club is also a great venue for your wedding. Situated in left field, the club features a large dining area in Pittsburgh, a lounge chair seating area, a full-service bar with 25 embroidered Pirates stools and 20 flat screen HD televisions, plus two 52-inch flat screens.

With retractable glass doors open to PNC Park, the retreat gives your guests an "open air" atmosphere. The outdoor patio overlooking left-center field boasts a large bar and a canopy area that can accommodate more than 100 people.

The notable feature in the space is bronze plaques paying tribute to Pirates Hall of Famers. In addition, the club also has its own private entrance nested off of Federal Street. The retreat is available to host 250 people for a seated function and 400 for a reception-style function.

Pittsburgh Baseball Club - PNC Park can also give you a picturesque wedding. Just get married at the Pittsburgh Baseball Club. The Pittsburgh Baseball Club Level or "PBC" Level consists of Keystone Corner, Gummer's Lounge and Club 3000. These three venues all offer fabulous views of the PNC Park playing field and the Pittsburgh city skyline. All your guests can enjoy the views from inside or from their own private terraces.

There is also a full view of the video board from each club. As a great addition to your wedding, you can display a message or video of your choosing.

Lexus Club - Whether you want a casual wedding or a formal one, the Lexus Club all can serve your needs. As a sophisticated lounge, the club is suitable for various events ranging from casual cocktail receptions to black-tie affairs.

Featuring an elaborate bar, lounge area and fireplace, the club looks more elegant. It is also highlighted by rich woodwork, remarkable Pirates artwork and memorabilia. With wall-mounted flat screen televisions, a private entrance, multi-use seating configurations and the option to add staging elements or a dance floor round out the amenities, the club ensures you an unforgettable wedding.

The Lexus Club can accommodate 250 guests for a seated function and 450 for a reception-style function. There is no formal seating.

Multi-Purpose Room - Another event venue in PNC Park is multi-purpose room. Known as the Pirate Press Conference Room, this place is ideal for presentations, workshops, trade shows or other events, completing with classroom or theater-style seating. The capacity of the venue is 50 to 250 guests, depending on room set-up.

Tour Theatre - With the capacity of 15 to 70 guests, Tour Theatre is just ideal for a small wedding reception. Located on the second level of the Pirates Administration Building, this venue is outfitted with advanced built-in audiovisual equipment. It makes the Tour Theatre an ideal venue for more intimate events like rehearsal dinner as well as meetings, presentations and corporate retreats.

Clubhouses - Featuring unique areas for entertaining guests, the Clubhouses are great for corporate gatherings (like sales meetings, corporate retreats and team-building events) and social gatherings (such as birthday parties and cocktail receptions). The Clubhouses are available to host 25 to 100 guests. The availability of the Clubhouses is limited, depending upon the Pirates schedule.

Picnic Park - If you want a casual and outdoor wedding, Picnic Park at the ballpark may do your trick. As it is located beyond center field along the Allegheny River, spectacular, panoramic views of downtown Pittsburgh and the Clemente Bridge will add more splendors to your wedding.

With picnic-style seating under partial cover and a festival ballpark atmosphere, this venue can accommodate 50 to 450 guests. You may also use the PNC Park Riverwalk, Pirates Cove and main concourse as the extended space for your outdoor event.

The Deck - Partially covered, the Deck sits just under the PNC Park video board with a private entrance. Looking down the playing field and the North Shore, the place is ideal for casual parties and cocktail events, with a capacity of 15 to 300 guests. PNC Park Riverwalk, Pirates Cove and main concourse may also be utilized for extended outdoor event space.

Please note that the PNC Park is open for baseball 81 days a year. It is available for your event for the rest of the time. For your event, the park may offer a variety of services and assistance, including:

- Experienced personnel to assist with all aspects of planning and managing your event

- World-class in-house catering services

- State-of-the-art audiovisual systems, including video board capabilities

- Furniture and equipment rentals
