Pittsburgh Info Source: Newspapers and Other News Media

In Pittsburgh there are two main newspapers such as the "Pittsburgh Post Gazette" and the "Pittsburgh Tribune Review". Each of these newspapers has its good and bad. The "Tribune Review" leans towards the right and the "Pittsburgh Post Gazette" leans to the left. Leanings of these papers support candidates. Certain times these support leanings cross party-lines but that is an exemption rather than the law.

It should be the liability of any media-outlet to report on political views and not endorse or support candidates. It should also not take a partisan stance on the news. Personally we don't believe to see true impartiality in reporting. This however is not realistic given human limitations.

The Pittsburgh newspapers are just one example of the media in general in the US. There are even other news media facing even more great problems. At least you know they are not controlled by government.
