Downtown Pittsburgh is known as the Golden Triangle and sometimes the Central Business District. By the south, you can see the Monongahela River and by the north is the Allegheny River. Exploring the downtown area of the city is easy. You can easily use the light rail, ride the bus or ride a taxi. There are six current light rail subway systems here including Gateway Center and Steel Plaza.
