1) Travel from the South

Take Route 51 (also known as Saw Mill Run Boulevard) and head north. When you see Liberty Tunnels, make a right turn to pass through the Liberty Bridge. Take the Interstate 579 Exit and then turn onto Crosstown Boulevard. Take the first left onto Seventh Avenue and keep straight. Then make a left turn onto Liberty Avenue. Follow Liberty Avenue and then bear right onto Sixth Street. After you pass Penn Avenue, the Byham Theatre would be on your immediate right.

Or you can choose to take Route 873 and proceed toward north. When you see Station Square, make a right turn on Smithfield Street Bridge. Keep proceeding on Smithfield Street and then bear to the left onto Sixth Avenue. Follow Sixth Avenue to Liberty Avenue and then stay straight. Turn right onto Sixth Street. Continue on Sixth Street until you find the Byham Theatre is located on your right.

2) Travel from the North

Keep going south on Interstate 279 and then take the Interstate 579 Exit. Continue in the right lane before you take the Sixth Avenue Exit. Stay straight on Sixth Avenue and then make a left turn on Liberty Avenue. Proceed for a short while until you see Sixth Street. Bear to the right onto Sixth Street. Follow Sixth Street to the entrance of the Byham Theatre.

For visitors who are driving on Interstate 279, it is recommended to head south and then take the Fort Duquesne Bridge Exit. Keep straight in the left lane until you come across the Fort Duquesne Boulevard Exit. Take the Exit to pass through the bridge and then continue on Fort Duquesne Boulevard. When you see Sixth Street, turn right. Keep proceeding on Sixth Street and the Byham Theatre is only minutes away.

3) Travel from the East

After you pass through the Turnpike, take the Exit 6. Head west on I-376 and keep straight for about 13.5 miles before you take the Exit 1C. Proceed to the bottom of the Exit ramp and make a left turn onto Fort Pitt Boulevard. Stay on Fort Pitt Boulevard and then bear to the right at the third traffic light. Follow Stanwix Street to the fourth traffic light and turn right. Take Liberty Avenue and keep proceeding straight until you see Sixth Street. Make a left turn on Sixth Street and continue about two blocks to arrive at the Byham Theatre.

If you are proceeding on Interstate 376 now, remember to continue toward west. Take the Allies Exit to get onto Allies Boulevard. Then take the 579 Exit and bear onto Crosstown Boulevard. Make a left turn onto Seventh Avenue and continue straight. When you see Liberty Avenue, bear to the left. Follow Liberty Avenue and then turn right onto Sixth Street. Stay straight on Sixth Street and pass through Penn Avenue. Within minutes, you will be at the Byham Theatre.

4) Travel from the West

Proceed toward north on Interstate 279 until you arrive at Fort Pitt Tunnels. Take the Fort Duquesne Boulevard Exit and turn onto Fort Duquesne Boulevard. Continue on Fort Duquesne Boulevard and then bear to the right onto Sixth Street. Stay straight on Sixth Street and go through the traffic light to get to the main entrance of the Byham Theatre.
